Graduate Nursing Intensive B

Catalog description
This virtual residency experience is designed to enhance nursing leadership competencies by integrating historical perspectives, ethical decision-making and evidence-based practices into advanced nursing care specific to the student's area of study. Students will explore the evolution of nursing, develop skills for effective team collaboration, assess workplace environments to promote health and wellbeing as related to their enrolled track. Emphasis will be placed on social responsibility, quality improvement and advocating for health equity, enabling participants to lead initiatives that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. By the end of this course, students will demonstrate competency in the Level B Objectives. Prerequisite: NR 658. Grade of B or higher. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
