Catalog description

This practicum course is centered on strategies for the development, assessment and revision of nursing education curricula. Students will gain experience in the curriculum development and revision processes, ensuring curriculum alignment with current healthcare trends, educational standards and the needs of learners and stakeholders. The course will provide students with practical experience in the process of developing, implementing and revising curricula and program evaluation, with a focus on evidence based practices and continuous quality improvement at a real world nursing education institution. This course includes the completion of 50 Practicum hours. Corequisite: NR 671. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
