This course is designed for nurse practitioner students focusing on the acute and emergency care of adults. It provides a comprehensive overview of critical conditions across various body systems, emphasizing rapid assessment, advanced clinical decision-making and evidence-based interventions. Students will gain an enhanced ability to deliver high quality, person-centered care in acute and emergency settings. Prerequisites: NR 598, NR 600 and NR 605. Grade of B or higher. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
