Catalog description
This course prepares nurse practitioner students with the advanced skills and knowledge necessary to manage a wide range of chronic and complex issues in adults. Emphasizing evidence-based practices and interprofessional collaboration, students will learn to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions in the acute care environment. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to apply specialized knowledge to the clinical setting. Prerequisites: NR 600, NR 605, NR 650 and NR 658. Grade of B or higher. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
