Catalog description
This course employs realistic clinical scenarios to enhance clinical decision making skills in the context of adult health. Emphasizing fundamental concepts in advanced nursing practice, students will integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application to assess, diagnose and manage common health conditions in adult patients. Through case based learning, students will develop proficiency in evidence based practice, critical thinking and ethical decision making relevant to adult health promotion and management. Prerequisites: NR 548, NR 552, NR 505, NR 505L and NR 598. Grade of B or higher. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
