Catalog description

This course provides an overview of global health issues and the role of nursing in addressing these challenges. Students will explore global health disparities, the impact of globalization on health and strategies for improving health outcomes worldwide. Emphasis is placed on cultural competence and ethical considerations in global health nursing. Prerequisites: NR 570, NR 570L, NR 575, NR 575L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisites: NR 577L. Offered: Fall, Spring Summer.
