This course will explore the perception of gender in leadership roles and differentiate between the how, why and success of Women in Leadership. As emotional intelligence and leadership ideals vary with background and experience. Characteristics such as gender identity, appearance, use of power and communication can influence the types of leaders people choose to be and the followers' respect that ensues. 3 Lecture hours.
