Catalog description

An in-depth study of financial mathematics with emphasis on the valuation of cash flows. Topics include present and accumulated values of payment streams and their applications to reserving, pricing, valuation, asset/liability management, investment income, capital budgeting and contingent cash flows. 3 Lecture hours. Prerequisites: MA 108 or MA 121 or MA 212. Offered: Spring, odd years.
