Precalculus Supplement for Calculus I

Catalog description

This course serves as a support course to be paired with MA 121, Calculus I for a corequisite implementation of precalculus and calculus. This course covers topics of precalculus mathematics, as a needed, to understand topics of calculus. The course is a rapid development of algebraic functions linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational and root functions. An analytical treatment of logarithmic and exponential functions followed by trigonometry. Prerequisite: Math placement in MA 107 or MATO 2. Corequisite: MA 121. Offered: Fall.
