Provides a comprehensive understanding about the weaponization and exploitation of information in contemporary global societies. Students assemble preliminary knowledge in historical case studies of information and its use in past competition and conflict. Use of 21st century technologies to deliver information warfare effects are compiled in-depth while leveraging a combination of learning methods to be able to construct and profile adversarial influence strategy, tactics and infrastructure. Analysis and identification off an entities vulnerabilities to influence operations and development of mitigation strategies. Threat casting methodology is employed to predict future adversarial threat capabilities and tactics. An experiential learning exercise is produced for an influence campaign based on selected threat actor and target in a future year. Offered: Fall.
