Information Warfare: Theory and Practice

Catalog description

Provides a graduate level foundation in Information Warfare. Content explores the concept from various national perspectives, its historical evolution and current threats posed by state and non-state actors. The course covers information warfare principles, historical examples and the role of cyber-enabled capabilities, including artificial intelligence and foreign malign influence. Students will critically analyze the information warfare capabilities of Russia, China, Iran, South Korea and violent extremist organizations as well as the strategic implications of the United States.
