Information Warfare and Threat Analysis

Catalog description

An introduction to the information warfare problem set through experiential learning modules exposing them to the information tactics and strategies of state and non-state US adversaries. In a series of simulated practical exercise students will learn to think critically about how information warfare poses a unique challenge to a democratic nation and to equip them with a deliberate analytical process to better understand and anticipate an adversary's information capabilities and likely courses of action to employ those capabilities and likely courses of action to employ those capabilities against a friendly force. Credit can be earned in one of CS 328 or IWAR 328. 3 Lecture hours. Offered: Spring.
