Catalog description

This course will explore the broad range of debates about Nazi Germany and the nature and origin of the Holocaust, drawing from a range of disciplines, including history, philosophy and genocide studies. Visits to different Holocaust-related sites in Berlin will provide deeper insights into how cultural memory of the Nazi era shapes contemporary Germany and specifically, the city that Berlin is today. Offered: Fall, Spring.
