Investigate pathologies common in physically active individuals by applying prior knowledge of the evaluation process as well as perform and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing necessary in the evaluation, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions affecting physical and mental health. Body systems examined include the gastrointestinal, renal, genitourinary, endocrine, and immune as well as mental health disorders. 3 Lecture hours. Prerequisite: HHPR 601, grade of C+ or higher. Restriction: Open to MATR students or Program Director Approval. Offered: Summer.
