Athletic Training in Healthcare

Catalog description

Provides the framework for, and exposure to, athletic training practice as a member in a healthcare system. Students apply concepts of evidence-based practice, disablement models, and health information technologies in the investigation of Athletic Training within a global health care system. Field observations of athletic training practice completed as part of this course. 3 Lecture hours. Restriction: Open to MATR students, HS ExSci Pre-Athletic Training Concentration or Program Director approval. Offered: Fall.
