Catalog description

Skills and insights are developed in security analysis and the theory and practice of portfolio management. Emphasizing both theory and practice, the seminar explores how investors assess risk, value financial assets and construct diversified portfolios to align with long-term objectives. Students examine equities, fixed-income, derivatives, and alternative investments and portfolio management through a combination of quantitative analyses, case studies, and projects. Prerequisite: Grade of B or higher in GB 522. Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer.
