This course examines Russia's relations with the world. The main emphasis is on Russian foreign policy since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The course addresses historic, geographic and ideational contexts of Russian foreign policy as well as its domestic factors and its cultural and institutional influences. It pays attention to the general instruments and specifc tools of Russia's foreign and security policy as well as to its important trends and directions.
