A study of representative readings in science fiction literature centered on novels and short fiction from the late-nineteenth century to the present with a focus on how these works develop major themes associated with the genre. A recommended literature course for fulfillment of General Education or Bachelor of Arts degree requirements in literature, Arts and Humanities. 3 Lecture hours.
