Catalog description
An introduction to the engineering profession, the concepts and methods of engineering design and the non-technical aspects of engineering. The use of fundamental engineering skills and the associated tools to aid in defining problems and developing solutions is introduced. The skills required for career success, teamwork, written, graphical and oral communication and problem solving are practiced. Prerequisite: Math placement into MA 095 or higher; or grade of C or higher in MA 005. Offered: Fall
