Catalog description

A foundational course covering conversion of analog signals into discrete-time signals and the processing of discrete signals using time-domain and frequency-domain techniques. Students use programming for the analysis design, and implementation of digital filters and other digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms. The course emphasizes software-based exploration of DSP concepts, with opportunities for hardware-based implementation. Prerequisite: Grade of D- or higher in EE 350. Offered: Spring.
