Catalog description

This course explores specialized topics in criminology focusing on theories, patterns and responses to criminal behavior. Topics vary by semester and may include areas such as criminal behavior, patterns of offending or the intersection of crime and social structures. Students will apply criminological theories and research methods to analyze crime trends, criminal justice policies and societal responses to crime. Prerequisite: CRIM 101 or Permission of Instructor. Offered: Occasionally.
