Catalog description

An examination of the role of the victim in crime and the treatment of the victim by the criminal justice system. Instruction in the use of victimization data in determining crime rates and in developing prevention programs. Review of victim assistance, restitution and compensation programs. Credit will be earned once between CJ 306 and CRIM 306. Prerequisite: CRIM 101 or CJ 201, and Grade of C or higher. Offered: Annually.
