Catalog description

An examination of key legal and procedural issues impacting the investigation of transnational crime. Issues such as extra-territorial jurisdiction of US law, extradition and extra-judicial rendering, and the collection of evidence abroad. Includes relevant case studies on trafficking, organized crime and money laundering, corruption, and national security crimes. Prerequisite: CJ 101, Grade of a C or higher. Offered: Every other year.
