This course offers a comprehensive exploration of the American criminal justice system, including a foundational understanding of how laws are created, crimes are investigated and justice is administered. Topics include the role of police, courts and corrections in addressing the challenges and complexities facing our society. This course emphasizes the importance of civic engagement and ethical decision making in shaping a just and equitable criminal justice system.
