Catalog description
Students in this course explore the relationship between plant structure and function to better understand how plants survive and thrive in different environments. An initial focus on plant anatomy, morphology and growth will enable further comprehension of how plant bodies carry out physiological functions including photosynthesis, hydraulics and reproduction. 3 Lecture hours. 2 Lab hours. Prerequisite: BI 101 or BI 122. Offered: Spring, every other year.
