Catalog description
An introductory science course exclusively for non-science majors that aims to give students an appreciation of the major concepts and current topics in biology. Concepts include the scientific method, cell structures, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, genetics, evolution and ecology as well as human anatomy and physiology. Requisite: credit may not be earned in BI 101, eg. mutually exclusive. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
