Catalog description

A case study course to gain experience in solving technical and business problems and applying fundamental skills needed for leadership roles in the age of Artificial Intelligence. The course begins with a level-set on terminology then introduces digital transformation, industry use cases, enterprise architecture and technology platforms, impacts of generative AI, data considerations, data governance, digital trust and ethics and designing and evaluating analytics projects. Students act as AI subject matter experts, data strategists and leaders evaluating strategic opportunities while considering data and analytics options to solve digital transformation challenges. Students learn how to apply an incremental development process, create a digital strategy document and address practical industry problems while considering the implications of AI.
