Catalog description
This course includes clinical experiences for application of nursing theory and skills for safe and effective care of the adult client experiencing acute, chronic, or life-threatening physical health conditions in all body systems. Prerequisite: all first semester courses. Concurrent registration in PNV 1614 Medical/ Surgical Nursing Theory is required. A passing grade in PNV 1614 Medical/ Surgical Nursing Theory and PNV 1622 is required in order to progress in the practical nursing program. If a passing grade is not maintained, both courses must be repeated concurrently upon readmission. Clinical Hours: Six hours clinical
