Catalog description
A calculus-based lecture course covering mechanics and conservation laws, primarily for students of engineering, science, or mathematics. Labs associated with this course contain experiments and exercises that reinforce the principles introduced in lecture classes. Prerequisite: MAT 1613 (PHY 2513 and PHY 2511 must be taken concurrently). Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in PHY 2511 . Note: Note: This course is alternatively entitled GENERAL PHYSICS I-A, Lecture, in the Uniform Course Numbering System
