Catalog description
A lecture course that covers the fundamental principles of chemistry and their application. Chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, atomic structure, bonding theories, energy, periodic properties, and gas laws are among the topics discussed in depth. Prerequisite: Math ACT subscore of 19 or higher OR a “ B ” or better in CHE 1313. Co-requisite: CHE 1211 Corequisite: CHE 1211
