Catalog description

This course introduces the pathophysiology of selected disease processes organized by body system. Students will examine disease signs and symptoms, potential complications, as well as common laboratory findings, and typical pharmacological interventions. Emphasis is placed on conditions most frequently encountered in physical therapy practice. This course requires a grade of C or higher.
