Neurological Disabilities and Treatment

Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive review of the human nervous system and common neurological disorders encountered in physical therapy practice. Emphasis is placed on the knowledge and application of therapeutic techniques used with patients across the lifespan with chronic neurological conditions. This course also explores stages of motor development and movement strategies to enhance functional outcomes.  This course requires a grade of C or higher.
