Medical Assisting Practicum Experience

Catalog description

This course supports students in their transition from the classroom to the role of a Medical Assistant. Students will complete a supervised, unpaid placement in an ambulatory healthcare setting, applying the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the program. Guided by experienced mentors, students will perform administrative, clinical, and laboratory tasks, gaining hands-on experience and confidence as they prepare to enter the healthcare workforce.
