Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of total compensation and benefits within the field of Human Resources Management. Students will examine the strategic role compensation and benefits play in attracting, retaining, and motivating employees while supporting organizational goals. Topics covered include base pay structures, incentive pay, health and wellness benefits, retirement plans and paid time off. The course also explores compensation design strategies and the impact of legal and regulatory frameworks on compensation practices.
