Calculus III

Catalog description

This is the third course in a three-course sequence. The course includes the following topics: vectors, lines and planes in space, quadric surfaces, vector-valued functions and motion in space, functions of two or more variables, partial derivatives, gradients, directional derivatives, and their applications, multiple integrals in rectangular, cylindrical, and spherical coordinates, and their applications, line integrals, and surface integrals. Non-symbolic graphing calculators are required. The TI-83/84 Series is recommended. A minimum grade of C is required if used to meet College-Level Communications and Computation Skills requirements for general education.
