This course introduces students to the foundational components of the U.S. healthcare delivery system, with a focus on the role of health information in supporting patient care, organizational strategy, and system-wide improvement. Students will explore various healthcare settings and the perspectives of healthcare consumers, while gaining insight into the structure and function of interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
