Hospitality Internship

Catalog description

This course provides students with a structured opportunity to gain professional experience within the hospitality industry. Over the course of a 250-hour supervised internship, students will apply knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom to real-world settings such as hotels, resorts, event venues, restaurants, or tourism operations. Under the guidance of an industry supervisor and faculty mentor, students will engage in activities related to guest services, operations management, event coordination, and customer relations. The internship is designed to enhance students professional competence, communication skills, and understanding of organizational operations within the hospitality sector. Through practical experience, reflective assignments, and performance evaluations, students will develop the skills and confidence necessary for successful employment and career advancement in the hospitality field.
