Students will utilize analytical skills and practical working knowledge to set realistic financial goals, prepare a manageable budget, and make decisions that will protect income, assets, credit rating, and retirement security. Topics covered include property & liability insurance, auto insurance, life insurance, health & disability insurance, investing, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, time value of money and retirement planning.
