Emergency Medical Technician

Catalog description

Emergency Medical Technician is designed to prepare the student with the necessary fundamental knowledge to be successful in meeting Emergency Medical Technician certification and licensing requirements. Students will learn how to assess, treat and transport the sick and injured at the level of the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic. There is emphasis on assessment based learning and complies with National DOT EMS Education Standards.
