Catalog description

This course introduces the theories, concepts, and relationships of voltage, current, and power in AC series, parallel, and series/parallel circuits containing common circuit elements with single and 3-phase sources. Students will apply Ohms Law, Kirchoffs voltage and current Laws, Thievings, Nortons, super-position, and maximum transfer of power theorems and their uses in AC circuit analysis. Included will be the use of a multimeter and oscilloscope for experimentation with and troubleshooting AC circuits.
