Cross-Cultural Experience

Catalog description

Students will expand their understandings of culture, scholarship, and the Christian faith through experiences, which may be domestic or international. Sites or activities are selected by the students with pre-approval of your advisor and the science department. Students may choose to complete the following experiences for their cross-cultural component: missions trip, university-offered travel course, Au Sable Institute (or similar) course, or service-learning project. Following the completion of the experience, students will be required to formally present their experiences to the science department. (Grade Pass/No Credit) Prerequisite: Instructor permission
