Catalog description
A survey of cell structure and function with focus on individual cellular organelle, as well as the interaction of cells with the extracellular environment and with other cells. Material presented in context of experimental questions and answers to incorporate concept of scientific method and recent advances in cell biology research. Prerequisite: SCIE 2063 - General Biology: Cell/Molecular and SCIE 1343 - General Chemistry II . Concurrent: SCIE 3401 - Cell Biology Laboratory except by instructor permission
