Survey of Inorganic and Biochemistry I

Catalog description

An introductory inorganic chemistry course available for transfer students only who have shown to take equivalent coursework at another accredited institutions. Topics include elements, atoms, the periodic table, electronic structure of the atom, chemical bonding, molecular structure, the concept of the mole and stoichiometry, principles and types of chemical reactions, and acid-base chemistry. Transfer equivalency only Concurrent: Requires concurrent enrollment in SCIE 1201 - Survey of Inorganic and Biochemistry I Laboratory except by instructor permission
