Foundations of Youth, Children, and Family Ministries

Catalog description

An introductory study of the essentials of ministry to young people from birth through late adolescence. This course explores ministry during these significant stages of growth and formation and the unique challenges and opportunities provided. Special attention will be given the place of family structures, as well as emerging cultural and societal trends. This course will help students to frame the relevant issues and develop a holistic and theologically-based approach to ministry to young people
