Applies concepts studied in NURS 4452 Population Health Nursing in the Community. Emphasizes the unique impact of nursing advocacy in the community setting. Explores the nurse’s role in assessing priorities of the community and implementing culturally responsive interventions within the frameworks of health promotion, policy, and health systems. Develops essential communication and critical thinking skills needed to engage in effective interprofessional partnerships.
