Focuses on the promotion, maintenance, and support of mental health to clients with commonly occurring psychiatric disorders. Utilizes clinical judgement in the care of individuals experiencing normal and abnormal psychological responses to life stressors. Explores care management, ethical issues, communication methods, and health policies. Concurrent: NURS 3355 - Nursing Care of Adults with Acute and Chronic Illness , NURS 3955 - Therapeutic Nursing Interventions II , and NURS 3622 - Application of Pharmacological Principles
