Addresses the history, philosophy, and advocacy of music education, as well as the selection of music and the direction of instrumental, choral, and elementary programs in classroom and concert settings. Additionally, students learn methods for teaching rhythm syllables and movement, intonation, sight-singing, and other instructional and classroom management strategies
