Catalog description

This course introduces students to the principles of mechanics and acoustics necessary to understand the generation, propagation, and perception of sound. Through projects and other applied learning activities, students will develop the basic skills and knowledge necessary to the performance of sound design professions, and be able to identify and describe the sonic elements necessary for the soundtracks of animation movies, games, interactive computer based applications, and multimedia presentations. (Same as AVPE 3413) (Course fee required)
