Catalog description

This is a foundation course for students majoring in Elementary Education. This course covers geometry, measurement, statistics, and probability. In addition, students will be encouraged to develop their problem solving, reasoning and communicating skills in mathematics while building positive mathematical attitudes. Prerequisite: Instructor Permission if not an Elementary Education major, SAT MATH score of 480/RSAT MATH score of 510/ACT MATH score of 20, or two years of high school algebra, or a satisfactory score on a math placement exam, or MATH 1003 - Intermediate Algebra
