Catalog description

A study of linear, quadratic, exponential, polynomial, rational, and logarithmic functions with applications to problems in mathematics, science, and business. This course prepares students for Calculus I. Not available for credit if a higher level or higher numbered math has been taken. (This course is also offered through our concurrent credit program.) Prerequisite: SAT MATH score of 500/RSAT MATH score of 530/ACT MATH score of 22, or a minimum two years of high school algebra with a grade of “B-“or above or equivalent, or MATH 1003 - Intermediate Algebra with a grade of at least “C”; or successful completion of a math placement test for Pre-Calculus
